Located directly in the spa gardens. Not accessible by car. Nice cafe ', great pies and cakes. Friendly staff. Breakfast is also offered. In summer you can sit outside.

Great location in the spa park. Good service, coffee and drinks just great. Unfortunately ..., just a daytime café. Would be great if you could have a drink there in the evening.

The milk in our milk coffee was sour. When asked whether it was possible that the milk was sour, we got the answer that this had already been noticed and a new coffee came out. The cups were placed somewhere but not the person who ordered! The various breakfast plates were okay, but nothing more. There was nothing pompous about it ... You can prepare breakfast with a little more imagination. This is my personal opinion.

The cafe is very nicely located in the Bad Dürkheim spa gardens. After a tour with a friend, we pompous at the cafe. After we found a seat outside, the waitress came and hurriedly wiped the table. I greeted them with a friendly hello, but nothing came back. Not even a look. She said she would come to us in a moment. Although we made ourselves noticed at the service from time to time, we were ignored. After three quarters of an hour we left this cafe and will not enter it again. Too bad.

Service is very nice. You sit in a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. Unfortunately it is very noisy due to the lack of insulation. The terrace is sunny and you sit very comfortably with a beautiful view of the lawn, flower beds, fountain and fountain hall.

The café enriches the spa park, which is already worth seeing. It's very cozy here and what is on offer is tasty. You should definitely insist on receiving a receipt as a settlement. So you can check your invoice again yourself. Don't blindly trust the operator and their iPhone.

Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and tasty. Very appetizingly presented. Staff very friendly, attentive and enjoyed their work. We recommend. We'd love to come back.

Breakfast was delicious. We were there for breakfast as a group of 12 people and everything worked out great and tasted very good. Portions were also very adequate. The staff was also very friendly. We would love to come back.

Nice cafe on the edge of the park. The cake I ordered was delicious. Despite a lot of traffic, short waiting time. Definitely use the terrace and linger in the sun

Sorry, can't rate it! We just weren't served. After 10 min. only the table was cleared by the previous guest! After another 10 min. and waving twice, she brought us the menus! Guests who came with us and were served by another waiter already had their ice cream! After another 20 minutes !!! so a total of 40 min. and they still didn’t wait to serve us, the four of us got up and left and will definitely never enter this place again!

Have been there twice and very satisfied each time. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the spa gardens. Inside it is pompous like the motto is. The breakfast was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. The staff is very friendly. Certainly not our last visit

Super nice, tastefully designed café, not too overloaded. Very friendly staff, delicious cakes, and the coffee, the MOST IMPORTANT, very good. I can highly recommend the blueberry cheese cake, especially when it's warm, very refreshing. If we lived nearby, we would certainly be here more often ... thank you very much for this relaxing afternoon.

First of all, I really appreciate Harald Glögler. Knowing that he is not directly connected to the café, I and my company assumed that the café was run by him in style and spirit. The visit was a disappointment. It started with the fact that we should have waited until we were escorted to a table. If we had done that, we would probably still be standing at the entrance today. Furthermore, no other corona rules were observed: We did not have to provide names or contact details. The table was not freshly disinfected. There were no disinfectants available - not even on the toilet. Which left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. Only the waitresses had face masks - as I said, otherwise Corona is not noticed in this café. / The cake selection is very disappointing. Not to be compared with the beautiful, different tarts and cakes that you can e.g. can admire on the Facebook presence. In summary: we were looking forward to a nice, stylish visit to the café with delicious cakes / pies. In fact, after a café / cappuccino we went back with the experience: Café Pompöös - you definitely don't have to visit.

We wanted to have a pompous breakfast today. Location and location top !!! Menu soiled twice. No soap to wash hands on the toilet, the disinfectant dispenser was empty and neither was refilled after a good two hours. And that at the time of SARS-CoV-2. Service nice, but unfortunately busy elsewhere after breakfast is served. Not a single inquiry or clearing of the dishes in over two hours. Quality of the breakfast, salami, cheese, sausage probably lower price level discounters. Jam, yogurt, rolls ok. Coffee very good, Prosecco sweet, inedible. Egg was hard-boiled and served almost cold in a wobbly plastic egg cup. But Pompöös has beautiful porcelain and interiors. Not accessible by car, which was not recognizable in advance on the website. The address given leads to the back entrance without access to the cafe. Despite a long search, really an idyllic location, very beautiful. Reservation was not possible online, but it worked after five days of calling. Even if the café is not run by Mr Glööckler, the name Pompöös is associated with class and luxury and not plastic spoons. This expectation was in no way met. A café with a lot of potential and room for improvement. Let's hope the best.

Coffee and ice chocolate was delicious, well priced. Unfortunately, the waitresses were a bit hectic, so we didn't have the opportunity to order something to eat. Nevertheless, the waitresses were very friendly. We really liked the ambience on the terrace, prior reservation was not necessary.

So if somewhere to eat and drink and everything that goes with it, then here. Personally, I don't understand some comments that pull a star. Everything is right, the conditions are super friendly and cater to all your wishes, apart from that you don't have to wait long as in other restaurants that take a long time for an ice cream sundae. I loved being served there, from breakfast to food and dessert, everything tastes great. Highly recommended for a meal for two or a party in the company, just reserve in advance or not 🤣 and you can spend a great day there. Curiosity drove us to Café Pompöös. Mr. Glööckler's style unmistakably not overloaded. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast good. Price / performance coherent. Very nice outside terrace. ☕️🍰

Stylish place, design by Harald Glööckler. Although rather crowded because of its popularity, it is worth waiting for a table. If the excellent menu and the beautiful cakes will not surprise you, then the friendlyness of the staff will. At Cafe Pompöös hospitality is an art. Thank you lovely staff for a warm welcome.
